what to expect

First of all, welcome! We're so glad you're considering visiting Trinity Pines Baptist Church. Visiting a new church can be tough - mainly because you don't always know what to expect! We want to put your mind at ease. Here are some things you can expect when you visit Trinity Pines Baptist Church:

1. You can expect to hear the Word of God preached
Paul warns Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths." Turning away from truth is not acceptable at TPBC. This could mean that not every single sermon is encouraging or convicting. But our commitment at TPBC is that every sermon will be truthful and every sermon will be biblical.

2. You can expect a relaxed, contemporary worship service
Some people prefer to dress up in "Sunday best" while others prefer a more relaxed attire. Whatever your preference is, you're welcome to come as you are. Our worship team plays contemporary Christian music with occasional hymns as well. We do not have hymnals, but all of the lyrics are displayed on TV's for you to easily read and sing along.

3. You can expect people to say hi to you
We know, sometimes when you're visiting a church for the first time, it can be a little overwhelming having everyone introduce themselves. We're sorry in advance! We love having people join our family, so when you visit for the first time, people are going to interact with you. We promise you'll warm up to us once you get to know us, so don't let us scare you off!

4. You can expect your children to be safe
During any church activity at Trinity Pines, we have a dedicated security team monitoring the premises at all times. When you walk in the front doors, you will see an area where you can check in your child. Upon checking them in, you will each receive a name tag with a special security number on it. Only a person with a matching number can pick up their child from children's church following the service.
