let's read the bible!

The Bible teaches that all people are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). God didn’t just create us to navigate life on our own, he created us to be in relationship with him. We have a desperate need as God’s creatures to hear God’s voice. We cannot properly function in this world apart from Him. The good news is, God has spoken to us clearly in His Word. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” God’s Word is inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative, and sufficient. Given how valuable God’s Word is, we need to read it! That’s why in July of 2025, TPBC set out on a two year Bible reading journey. The plan begins in Genesis and goes straight to Revelation. The plan allows for catch up days to help make falling behind manageable. Most days require two chapters of reading, while others will contain three chapters of reading. The plan is designed for you to be able to jump in wherever we’re at, and we’ll start again in July of 2027. Wherever you’re at, we hope you’ll join us on this journey!
